let them eat cake - wedding cake

Well, we've been traveling a bit and I'm sorry to say have nearly no photos of the fabulous food we ate while away. We had Kansas City BBQ at Jack Stack while in KC and it was awesome. I think we ate 4 entire animals or sides of animals. Anyway, it was really good and way, way, way too much. The beans were especially good and I think I'm still full one week later. Still can't believe the waitress asked if we wanted dessert! Nor can we believe everyone in KC isn't fat.

We went to a good friend's intimate and touching wedding in Canada after that. The ceremony was in the park and often rainy Vancouver shown brighter than I've ever seen it. Must be a good omen for sure. They had the reception at a nearby Afghan restaurant, complete with belly dancer. As for food, we have only one shot here of wedding cake. Chocolate. My kind of wedding.
