Tough summer for Tomatoes

We finally got a little summer - Indian Summer is more accurate. But it was just enough to ripen a few more cherry tomatoes. When I say a few - I mean those pictured above. Yes, 4 tiny tomatoes. Delicious, but tiny. These 4 doubled our yield so far. There are a couple more started on the vines, but as we get our first rain of the season, I am not hopeful they will ripen. Time to start thinking about plantings for the winter... last winter we did well with lettuces and kales.
