A new idea for fava beans!

A big shout out to Sandra for the fava beans & to Alden for the idea! It's good to have friends! Thanks, gals!It turns out fava beans can be grilled - in the pod! This means less steps to eating - i.e., grill and then eat, kind of like edamame. We seasoned just with olive oil, salt, red pepper, and green onions. Oh, and a bit of lime. Delicious!

As happenstance has it, Dave picked up some lovely flat iron steak and the steak plus beans were enough to be a meal. (probably and then some, but really... if it's good, why stop?) Vegetarians please look away at this point. You do not want to scroll down!
